Happy Snail Mail Day and Stuff

Due to the hormonal ups and down I had a pretty slow weekend. Now that I'm feeling better I am able to do more around the house, with the boys and with my art stuff.
With all the stuff going on in the house it's hard to keep motivated to keep it neat and tidy. When I'm due to have my period it's almost impossible. Before my period = Mess. After my period = beautiful and cosy house. I'm a person who loves my home and the stuff in it. (It represents me and my family). That's just one tiny reason why it's important to get my hormones in balance.
Right now I have put all of my money into my home. I really want to go to Tibet so badly but the house comes first. I just want to finish it and be done with it. I want a home that's easy to take care off and one that is afforable. I want to have a wild and carefree future with my boys and Neil. I want to live life to the max. I want to go on amazing adventures with my boys and have the most romantic experiences ever with Neil just the two of us.

I am blessed that I have my boys.
I am blessed that I have a man who loves me.
I am blessed that I have wonderful parents and siblings.
I am blessed that I have the best, best friend on this earth!

Time moves on....

My ex partner and I broke up in July of 2005. Already he has brought a house, 2 cars, got engaged, got married and now had a child. I most be slow to progress I only have a boyfriend and a couple of doggies.

It's a little boy! His name is Lucian and he was born on Saturday. I am so glad my boys got another brother.

The boys first thoughts:

Owen:
First thought: I think the baby is adorable.

Caleb:
First thought: "I don't want to talk about babies". Why Caleb? "Because they cry". They hurt my ears when they cry".

They get to meet this little guy on Friday.

Friday goes down as one of the days of my life. After years and years of hell I finally went to a female gynaecologist at the North Eastern community hospital. Neil came with me for comfort and support. I was expecting the worst. I was expecting this horrible confrontational doctor. I was expecting that she wouldn't believe me. I was expecting to be turned away empty handed with no treatment no nothing. I was expecting that I would have to live the rest of my life in misery because of my periods. I WAS WRONG! The doctor was so beautiful and caring. She listened to me. She listened to my history of major hormonal problems. She gave me diagnosis of "Premenstrual dysphoric disorder". 10 percent of woman get this disorder worldwide.

For years and years I have had to put up with this (below) two weeks out of a month! Yes half of my life!!!!!
Persistent sadness or depression
Marked anxiety, feelings of being "keyed up"or "on edge"
Mood swings often marked by periods of teariness
Persistent or marked anger or irritability
Decreased interest in usual activities
Fatigue or lethargy
A feeling of being overwhelmed or out of control
Flu-like symptoms, including muscle aches, headaches and joint pain
Breast tenderness
Changes in sleep patterns — problems falling and staying asleep or sleeping too much
Changes in appetite — overeating, lack of appetite or specific food cravings

My doctor is going to give me an implant and medication to stop my body from ovulating, ie; stop my body from having periods!!!!! Yes yes yes!!!! I get this medication on Wednesday and it will start working within two weeks! This will have a MAJOR and I mean MAJOR impact on my life! I cannot not even imagine all the things I am going to be able to do!!!!!!
After the appointment Neil and went out to lunch on Norward Parade. It was one of the most relaxing, peace of mind lunches ever!!!

I brought this awesome little mini album kit (below). I love Elsie's stuff! So fun and cute! I'm not to sure what I plan on doing with this yet!

I brought this cute little Neverland print for Caleb's bedroom! Cute for a boy hey!!!

I am off to collect the kids from school and take them shopping so they can spend their pocket money!

Walking with sticks

Isn't this picture cute I bought it on etsy! I love this artist! I thought the picture was so adorable and it reminded me of myself and my three boys! ;) I love etsy! I am having a ball buying unique handmade art and for my house.

I get my boys on Friday. We have so much to do to the house but I really want to do something fun with them. Not sure what yet > maybe a drive in the country.

I am collecting things gradually to go in my room. I brought these little cuties from etsy. Their home will be on my bed. The more cute teddies the better. I have seen I few more awesome teddies and cushions that I want! ;) Ohhhh I can't wait until my room comes together it going to look awesome! I am getting 4 white billy ikea bookshelves to house the rest of my pretties.

Yesterday

I didn't get all the things I wanted to get done yesterday! But I did a little shopping. Above some napkins. A beautiful Kimmidoll (to go in my room of course) and two cards (will use these to make a journal and a mini book). I also got these awesome beads from Freedom > not to sure what I will do with these yet! (they are beaded curtain ties). Mmmm maybe I might put these outside!

How cool is this Bracelet above! OMG I just had to have have it! The Buddha head is hand made! It's flat as well so it will fit nice around my wrist.

This necklace below is my favourite. I can seperate it in two. The other half is going to my best friend Amy. Who loves buddhism like me!

LIFE:
Had a nice night tonight. Went out and had dinner and a cocktail with Neil. Boys just went to their dad's.

I had a really nice week with my boys. I did some art stuff with them (for a school project). Next week is book week and the kids need to be dressed up their favourire book character. I am going to dress my boys up as Mr Men. Caleb will be Mr Mischief and Owen Mr daydream. I picked them! lol! Should be fun!

SCRAPBOOKING:

I will try and take some pics of my layouts tommorrow and post them! ;)

HOME:

I brought a few magazines tonight to get decor and design ideas for my house. I love freedom stuff I might head down there tommorrow and have a look around. I might also go to ikea as I want to get 4 white bookshelfs for my room. I went to get stuff moving along! I am loving it! My house will be very uncluttered and modern. But my room it's pink (now) and will be filled with lots of pretty stuff!

It's 2:18 am now Neils in bed and I have a nice quiet house to myself. Heater is on. Might watch a movie. Might scrap. I am lucky I don't have kids to wake me up in the morning.

I have the whole day to me tommorrow. I am going to get my hair cut, my eyebrows waxed and my nails down. I really want to treat myself to a massage. Maybe a foot one or a back one! Heaven > great way to de-stress. Love it! Then go shop!

NEIL:
Tonight my baby brought me home some flowers! He still cares and loves to show that he cares. I love that and love him! So glad that he is mine in this lifetime.

Home:
Neil and I are becoming very 'shitty' about the house being a mess during this reno time. Just a few days ago we had a guy come in and cut a big hole in the ceiling which made a huge mess! Grrr! I am so behind in my housework it's beyond belief. We are very clean house people and for us clutter and mess is hard to live with! I can't wait until our home is just the why we want it!

Last weekend I saw my best friend Amy and she gave me this book (above) Notes from My Travel by Angelina Jolie. I can't wait to read it! love her she is so very inspiring. I love how she is using her fame towards "improving the life of others". Something I want to do one day very soon!

My dream is still to go to Tibet one day! All the money is going into the house. So maybe oneday after the house is finished!

New pool and other stuff

I am really happy right > thank god the sickness is behind me. The virus I caught a week or so ago left me in bed for weeks.

Scrapbooking:
I haven't scrapped anything in ages! But for the last few days I have been working on a cute mini allbum that I will post asap.
I did this ATC (below) before I got sick.!!!
I have been spening any internet time I get on flickr. I have already done 1 swap, I have another on the way, and one in the planning stages! So much fun.

My life has been beyond fantastic.

We are really getting on with our house tasks. Last week we got a brand new heater put in. Yesterday we paid the the deposit for the pool we are getting! YES A POOL! It's a huge 7.7m x4.5m!! Wayyyyy big enough for all those pool parties we plan on having. Next week we are painting our walls and hopefully the week after our new kitchen will be put in.

Yesterday as I said Neil and I paid the pool deposit, we went to lunch at the Modbury hotel and then we had a look at Freedom! I love the furniture and decor items at freedom. Neil and I picked out a few items we like but we are going to wait until the new kitchen is put in, the walls are painted the new titles are laid before buying anything
